August 1
We took the kids to the Discovery Museum down in Salt Lake at the Gateway Mall. They have a little house inside and there is a kitchen in that. Little Miss Shailee having lots of fun!

In the middle of it, they have thing that is like a maze/trail and they run water in it. The kids can then play in the water with balls, shovels, just random stuff really. They also have tubes that you can put the ping pong balls through them. This was a favorite of both kids!

They have a section at the top that goes outside and there they have a helicopter that you can sit in and play around.
Aiden loved this room! He would go back and forth between the two light walls. One was a light with bubbles that would go up it and change colors. The other was like a mosaic but the pieces were plastic and moved...he liked the texture of it.

We had a crazy wind storm blow through and it broke our front tree. Last year we had a crazy wind/hail storm that also broke this tree.

Outside playing and Aiden found some dirt and tried it...I don't think he liked it much because he hasn't tried it since.

Shopping at Hobby Lobby for some party favors for Aiden's birthday coming up. Daddy wanted to try this on Shailee! She looks pretty good if I do say so myself! :)

We took the kids to a new park! This park has a castle as part of the playground, it's pretty awesome! Aiden loves to swing! Wheee!
What a cool swing! We had to try it out and Shailee loved it!

Poor mister isn't feeling well at all. He fell asleep in my arms, which never happens anymore! I don't mind the snuggles, but I wish he didn't have to be sick!

Pure bliss! I hope we can all be as happy about things as Aiden is playing with his car!

Happy Birthday Wes! We spent the day at the county fair! It was a lot of fun! In one of the tents they had the princesses preforming...we knew we had to go see it! Shailee was so excited to see the princesses!
Check out this cow! I can't remember what it's called but those horns were huge!
They had a tiger show there too so we went. The only downside...it was HOT and we were in the sun with no shade the entire time!
August 16
We went up to Idaho for Wes's Grandpa Leon's viewing and funeral. The above picture was taken at our wedding with both of his grandparents. They are now in a joyous reunion up in heaven watching over us!
This was taken in May 2015. We went up for Memorial Day and we also went up to his Grandma's grave site. Most of the Williams side was there for this. They did a little program at the gravesite and then went and had lunch at the church. It was a lovely program.
The funeral for Leon was a beautiful service as well!
While we were at the viewing, we left the kids with my parents so they wouldn't get bored and sick of the van. We were only up for the weekend and a lot of driving, so we decided to spare them.

These two pictures happened before Shailee fell asleep. After the funeral and the luncheon, we went back to Leon's house for a bit. Most of the uncles and cousins were going over there. Anyway, playing in the tractor with Grandpa! So much fun!

So this happened! We signed Shailee up for a preschool. Hoping it works out and that she loves it!
This was also a sad day! My parents had to make the tough decision to put Oreo down. I guess she wasn't keeping anything down, and my mom was having to hold her down because she would seize! So sad, so they put her down and she is now in a better place. I love you Oreo Jane! You were a fantastic dog and my kids loved you! Until we meet again, I love you and rest in peace!
We decided to go to the park that day too! We all needed to get out and so we went.
He's definitely a climber!
