November Update

On November 2, 2014, Aiden turned 2 months old and was also blessed.  My dad, Tony McCulloch blessed our little boy for us!  He did an amazing job!  My good friend Tara wrote down a few things that was said, and I would like to share that with you as well.

"...Aiden Weston Williams, we bless you that you may grow and be a healthy little boy...That you may have a desire to know Heavenly Father's love for his children...That you may know the love Heavenly Father has for you...Bless you that you will share and be an example to all your friends...Bless Shailee and Aiden that they will play together...May have sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father...That you may one day serve in the church..."

Thank you Tara, I didn't get that with Shailee and forgot to with Aiden as well, so I am grateful to you for doing that!

After the blessing we came to our house for a yummy lunch of ham, funeral potatoes, jello salad, spinach salad, rolls, and lemonade.  Thanks to everyone who came.  In the above picture is my birth mom Cheri Hargraves holding Aiden,  my sister Brynlee Jones, me, Weston holding Shailee.

Kevin, Wade and Jamie Nokelby, Shailee, Troy, Aiden, me, Weston, Vinny, Tyson, Titus, Suzanne, Sarah Williams, Lucy, Kami, Kaden, and Kyler Williams.  Not pictured is Lucy and Kyler's oldest...he was having too much fun to slow down for a picture.

Me, Weston, Shailee, Rita, Tony McCulloch and Aiden.

It was a beautiful day, and above are just a few pictures of our sweet little boy in his blessing outfit my mom made!  She did an amazing job!

Shailee having fun with cousins and Grandma Williams.

Shailee and Titus sat in this swing and talked to each other!  I was a whimp to go outside, but watching them was sure cute!

This is was I saw a lot of the time too...Shailee wanted so badly to play with the boys, but she was too timid too, they were a little rough, so she just watched.

Everyone seemed to have left at the same time, and Shailee was so sad when everyone left.  All her friends, and both sets of grandparents.  Took her about 10 minutes to get over it, but she was so sad!

Jumping ahead a little bit to November 8.  Wes went out to rake up some leaves, and took Shailee with him.  She had lots of fun, so we snapped a few pictures of her!

It was such a nice day, I decided to take the opportunity to get Aiden's 2 month pictures taken as well.

Backing up a little bit now to November 4.  I snapped this sweet picture of Wes and the kids!

On November 6, we decided to get Shailee some underwear and start potty training her.  She does pretty good, but with all the vacations and whatnot that have come up she is still in pull ups and doesn't go very often anymore.  We'll start back up soon tho.

On November 8 I laid Aiden down on the bed for a few minutes, turn back around and Kansas was babysitting him!  Haha, it was so cute.

On the 13, I was holding Aiden and Shailee wanted to snuggle and so I decided to snap a picture while I was at it.  It turned out perfect!  Love these two kids of mine!

On November 14, we took the kids to Disney on Ice!  Shailee loved it, and still talks about going to this day.  Aiden was a trooper and actually fell asleep after intermission.

On November 21, it was my last day of being 27!  Wes came home early from work, and took me out to Sushi!  It was so good and delish!  Then, when we got home, I hear a knock on the door.  It was a girl from our ward coming to get Shailee.  Little did I know that Wes had arranged babysitters for the kids and he took me out to the movies and we saw the new Hunger Games movie!  It was a great birthday and a great surprise from Wes!  Thanks babe, you made it special!

On the 22, I made us some better-than-sex cake!  OMG, it was delish!  I might make some more now, just because it is so good!

On the 23, we got snow!  So, Wes dressed Shailee up and took her outside to play!  She loves going out and "walking" in the snow and making foot prints, as well as cleaning snow off things.  Wes and Shailee made a little snowman too.  So cute to watch her play and help dad build a snowman!

We went up to Idaho for Thanksgiving, and had dinner with my family the day of.  It was good, but I didn't get any pictures there.  The day after, Shailee, Grandma and Grandpa were just chilling on the couch watching TV.  She sure loves them!

Shailee even snuck off and climbed in bed with Grandma and watched a show or played games on her tablet while Grandma watched her show on TV.

On the 29, we went to Ty and Sarah's house in Idaho Falls for the Williams Thanksgiving feast!  It was so good!  We attempted Shailee sitting and eating at the little kids table.  She didn't eat a ton, but she had some, and didn't really bother Wes or I to hold her at the grown up table!  It was awesome!

We played a game where we went around the table, wrote something nice about each person and then had to guess who wrote what.  Here are the compliments for Wes and I.

WESTON

Shailee and Vinny!  They were so fun to watch.  Not sure what they are talking about here.  When we were getting close to leaving, Shailee, Vinny and Grandma played hide-and-seek.  It was so cute to watch Shailee play with her cousins!

Sarah had fun playing dress up with Shailee and I know Shailee enjoyed it too!

On the 30, we went to church with the Williams and Shailee miraculously let me curl her hair!  It looked so cute and I love it!  I have curled it a few other times since, and everytime she looks just as cute as she does here.

October Update

Now we come to October.  Shailee and I started the month of October out by having some mommy daughter time and doing a little bit of grocery shopping with out the boys!

I told her to give me a thumbs up, this was as close as I got.  Not bad for a first time thumbs up!

On October 2, Aiden turned a month old!

Here is what his board says, in case you can't read it:
LIKES:
  • binky
  • snuggles
  • moblie on swing
  • sing himself to sleep
  • grunting
  • arch his back
DISLIKES:
  • being hungry
  • having a dirty diaper
  • cold wipes
WEARS:
  • newborn diapers
  • newborn clothes
  • some 0-3 month clothes
OTHER STATS:
  • weighs ~10 pounds
  • eats ~ 4 ounces of milk

On October 4, we took his 1 month pictures.  I am no expert, and don't have my sister-in-laws talent, but I think I do a pretty good job.  Here are a few of our favorites!

Back up here by one day, on the 3rd of October, USU had a game (I can't remember who played or if they won or lost) and we were supporting them by wearing our Aggie Blue colors...including little Aiden!  Shailee wanted her picture taken all by herself, and was so excited to stand there and stretch out her arms.

October 9, and I decided I would try a new recipe out on the bug!  Mini pancake muffins with syrup and chocolate chips baked into them.

They were a hit!

Aiden shows me his many faces on the 10th of October...

And we can't forget big sister Shailee who also wanted her picture taken!

On October 11, we had our friends Holly and Josh come over for dinner.  This was their first time meeting little Aiden!  Holly has to get her baby fix, and we were more than happy to let her hold the little mister!  Come back soon you two, we love and miss you!

Earlier that day, on the 11, we went to the pumpkin patch to let Shailee choose some pumpkins to have at the house for Halloween!

He was not happy at this point.  I'm pretty sure he was hungry and wanted out of his carseat.  Which he hates!

On October 12, I laid down to have a little nap.  Little did I know, but Shailee crawled up too and laid down next to me and also had a nap.  Wes snapped this picture of us!

On Monday, October 13, this happened.  I was having a fantastic day!  I had gotten all my chores done before 10 and so I decided I would take the kids to the library to pick up a book for Wes and also to renew my book.  On the way out of the library, I tried to turn Aiden's car seat around so that the sun wasn't in his face...next thing I knew, I was falling to the ground, car seat and all.  Thank goodness he was strapped in, he cried for a few seconds then was quiet...turns out he had fallen asleep.

A nice lady came over to me, and asked if I was ok.  I told her no (as I looked down at my leg) and said something is wrong with my knee, I don't think that is normal.  She called 911 and an ambulance came.  There were lots of nice people there that helped me out.  Another lady went and took my books to my van, and got Shailee's car seat out of it.  There were some that sat there and helped me and Shailee stay calm till the ambulance got there.  Once there, they got me on the gurny and loaded me, then loaded Shailee and Aiden in the ambulance as well.  The first lady who asked if I was ok and called 911 offered to follow the ambulance and stay at the hospital with Shailee until Wes could get there.  So nice!  My faith in humanity was restored!  While in the ambulance, Shailee got a stuffed little bear that she named Rainbow!  She did so good, and hardly any tears were shed!  While at the hospital she got spoiled there too.  She got another teddy bear, chocolate milk, teddy grahams and animal crackers as well as a page to color!

What had happened was my knee cap popped out!  Super painful!  When I got to the hospital, the doctor gave me two options.  1) he could just pop it in, with no medication, and I would be in pain for a few minutes, or 2) he could give me medication that would cause an amnesia affect.  I would be awake for it, but once it was all said and done, I wouldn't remember anything about him moving it back in place.  I opted for the second option!  So glad I did!  Wes said that after it was running in my system, the doctor walked over to my leg, grabbed it and just popped it back in.  He said I groaned in pain, but I don't remember it at all!

My lovely bruise from the IV!  I was on crutches for a few weeks with a knee brace and also had physical therapy for my knee.

On October 15, I pulled Shailee's old play mat out for Aiden.  He seemed to enjoy looking at the toys hanging down, and Shailee had fun with it too!  She liked to show Aiden all the cool toys on it!

On October 17, we took Shailee to her gym class and while her and daddy were out playing, Aiden and mommy hung out together.  He's such a cute little boy, we sure love him!

On October 19, my mom came down to our house and then drove back to Idaho with me and the kids.  Wes was going to Houston, TX for some job training, so I went to Idaho where I could have help with the kids and myself since I was still in a knee brace and crutches.  This was the 20, and Shailee and I were having lunch!

Aiden just hanging out.

Taking a nap with mommy!

The next night (21) was bath night for the bug!  I wasn't sure how I was going to handle giving her a bath, but I was able to sit on the edge and get everything washed that needed to be washed.  The rest of her bath time was spent playing with her toys and a cup!

Wes had to send a picture of where he was doing his training.  They dye their water blue...we both thought that was really weird.

On the 22, I went to see my best friend Ila Busch, to get my hair trimmed and colored.  This picture is before.

We had some time to kill, so we went to Toys R Us and Shailee insisted on sitting in the cars they have there.  So cute!  Wish we could get her one, I know she would love it!

Here is the after of my hair!  Love the red!  I missed having red in my hair that I just had to have it back!  I love it!

Earlier that day, we were just hanging out while waiting for my mom to get off work.  Aiden was being a happy boy this day, so I snapped some pictures to share here and also to send to daddy!

Shailee wanted a picture too, but getting her to lay near Aiden was difficult.  I ended up having to move Aiden over to her for this picture!

She was sharing her Frozen story book with him...it was so cute to just watch them on the floor.  One day, I think they will be the best of friends!

Shailee and I shared a bed while at my parents house.  She is quite the bed hog haha.  This morning (23) I had woken up before she did, but didn't dare get up and move, because then she would wake up and cry because I was gone.  So I played on my phone and let her sleep.

That night, Grandma and Grandpa Williams came over for a visit...I love this picture, it caputres Shailee's relationship with her grandparents so well!  We had fun when they came over and appreciate that they stopped by to see all of us!

Face timing with dad!

More pictures with grandma and grandpa!

When it was time to come home, my mom rode with me and the kids while my dad followed us in my parents car with Oreo.  This was the day they left (26), we decided to get a picture with them as well!

On October 28, Shailee decided that holding Aiden was actually ok.  Of course we had to get that on camera!

On October 31, we went down to Murray, UT to meet up with Great Grandma Sharlene and her husband George.  It was a good middle for the family, so lots of us met them there!  Pictured above is: Wes, Shailee, Me, Kevin, Wade, Jamie, Shane, Sharlene, Beth, Aiden, Andrea, Kade, and Kenny.

Shailee enjoyed playing on the playground in her pretty Rapunzel dress!

Out trick-or-treating!  Shailee did good and walked the entire time, and went up to the houses and said trick or treat most of the time and thank you!  I hobbled along with my crutches and Aiden hung out in the stroller!

These were after trick-or-treating, and the pumpkins Shailee decorated!

Before trick-or-treating.  If you can't tell what Shailee is, she is Rapunzel with Pascal!

These pictures were done with an app on my phone.  It was a zombie app, and it was perfect for Halloween.  Shailee loved the boys pictures and kept telling me that Aiden and dad had a snake in their eyes.  She always would grab my IPad and look through the pictures and spend the longest looking at these.

Our little pumpkin!  The cutest darn pumpkin on the block!

After trick-or-treating...we had to get a picture with mommy on the stairs too.  Sorry it's blurry, but it's still cute!

Coming up...November, Aiden's blessing and my birthday!
