Sorry this post is a little on the late side. We were really busy with the holidays and then I just never got around to posting. Better late than never tho right? lol
One morning, Shailee woke up with this lovely faux hawk from how she had been sleeping on it. I had to get a picture of it, cuz, well, it's pretty funny and cute!
Shailee made her way over to the tree, and got caught haha. She did really good with not grabbing the tree, mostly because we put a pillow and her toy basket in front of it, but this particular morning she found a way over the pillow.
For Christmas, we went home to Idaho and spent the holidays with both sets of parents. Christmas morning was spent at my parents and later in the afternoon was spent at Wes's parents. I forgot my camera there, and feel bad about not having pictures from there.
This was Shailee's first present from Nana and Papa. It's a musical table she can play with and she loves it!
This is a summer outfit that her Aunt Ila gave her. I can't wait to put her in it!
These are Scentsy waxes that Wes gave me, also a spatula to get old wax out. Thanks babe, I love it!

Family picture on Christmas day. Showing off our Christmas Eve jammies we got Christmas Eve. I made Wes's, but my I made them too small, so my mom added some extra material in the sides, and they fit perfectly. She also made mine. We bought Shailee's.

Gifts not pictured: my mom made us a blanket that we also got on Christmas Eve, thanks again mom for all your hard work! Christmas Eve we also got the movie "Elf" and hot chocolate mugs! New family tradition? I think so! Minus the blanket haha. Wes also got me an iPad! I was so excited, and I love playing on it! He also got me a nice coat that I can wear with dresses or something a little more fancy than just jeans haha.

December 30th, Shailee turned 11 months old! She is getting so big!
This says:
- Loves to wave "Hi"
- Loves to mimic mom and dad, when they stick out their tongue, so does she!
- Loves her forward facing seat
- Loves club crackers, puffs, baby cheetos, etc
- Love to jabber lots!
- Mr. Ducky still goes everywhere
- HATES when daddy leaves her, puts her down, etc
- Isn't a huge fan of white potatoes or gold fish crackers
- Milestones this month:
- Got 2nd top tooth (top left) on 12-11-2012
- Recognizes who Grandma, Grandpa, Nana, and Papa are and smiles/squirms for them. :)

New Years Day!
Happy New Years everyone! We spent it inside not doing much. Shailee wasn't feeling too good, and neither was I. So we had a nice relaxing day of doing nothing lol.

We got great gifts from Troy and Suzanne as well. I got sewing stuff, and a gift card to JoAnn's and some earrings. Wes got a drill and drill parts. Shailee got a puppy blanket that Suzanne made. It is a blanket with the upper and lower parts of a stuffed dog sewed on opposite ends. It's so cute! Thanks! From Ty and Sarah (they had us this year) we got Scrabble Flash, which is a really fun game! I got a nail set, and Shailee got a beautiful dress! We definitely got spoiled this year! Thank you everyone!
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and a happy New Year as well. In a few short weeks we will have a one year old! Crazy at how fast time has flown. Hopefully I will be faster at updating on Shailee's 12 month stats and her birthday party. Stay tuned!
