Another Weekend Passes By Us

Well, another weekend has come and gone. But it was a very eventful weekend that we both enjoyed. Earlier in the week, I had gotten a package (that I had been waiting for for a while), and it was inside this bigger box, chuck full of packaging peanuts. I played in them...lol, and I felt like a little kid.

LOL, see...told you I felt like a little kid again, playing in the box, and whatnot. Then Wes had this brilliant idea to put some of these packaging peaunts in a smaller box, then put Nibbles and Carmel in them, just to see what they would do. Here are the results:

These two pictures are both of Nibbles, and the second one she is burying herself under. Carmel is already under and to the bottom of the box. I don't think they liked being in there very much. Carmel likes to follow Nibbles around. HAHA!!

This weekend we went back to Rexburg. My parents had invited us to go to Bar J Wranglers up in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We got up there pretty early, so Wes and I decided to go into Jackson and chill for a few hours, just to kill the time. We saw a small gun show, (they were advertising for Jackson Hole's Playhouse, which are doing Grease with a western touch to it), and we both thought that was kind of cool.
This is us, in front of the ever popular arch of antlers.

It's kind of hard to tell what you're lookin at here, unless you know what to look for, but it's the villians. He has a maroon shirt on with a black vest.
This is us in front of a buffalo. That's my moose that I bought...his name is S'mores, and he's my snuggle buddy!

Anywho, that was our last picture in Jackson, then we headed off to the Bar J's. Wes had never been, so this was his first time, and I think he had a great time. At least, that's what he told me. LOL. Here are a few pictures from that.

This was the beginning of the show. You can see them all in this picture.

This guy is my favorite. He's kind of the goof ball of the group (although, they are all pretty funny), but every show, he comes out a some kind of character and does a little number. This particular show, he came out and was "crooning" the ladies. It was so funny.

On Sunday, after church, Wes surpised me by taking me to one of his favorite places he used to swim at growing up. The river is called Fall River and is about 15 miles from where Wes lives.

This is one of the places you can swim. You jump in where those boys are standing and come up where the second bend starts after them. The water wasn't too bad...but we didn't swim, I just soaked my feet.

I don't know how good you can see or tell, but there were tons of bubbles coming up, and I thought it was cool...so I took a picture of it.

This was on the other side of the bridge, and another place you can swim.

Well, that pretty much sums up our weekend. We came back to Logan last night, and got in around midnight or so. Stay tuned for more updates later. Toodles.

Our Weekened

Well the weekend came, and went already. Friday, we were planning on going to Hogle Zoo when Wes got off work and then to Sandy to do some miniature golfing. We headed down, finally found it, turns out they were closed. What kind of zoo closes at 6:30?!?! It was lame, and we were super bummed. So, we decided to make our time worth while of driving down to SLC and just went to the Gateway Mall to pass the time. It wasn't too bad after all. We got to spend time together, and just enjoy each other's company...although, we do that everyday lol. It was just nice to get out of the house and what not. So, since we did that we didn't do miniature golfing either.

Today, Saturday we went to the Logan Aquatic Center and went swimming. It felt so good to be in the cool water...it got up to 100 degrees today, and you could feel it. It was packed there. We went down one of their slides. The one we went on just dropped you down straight. It was so fun!! I got a wedgie coming down...hahaha!! Then after that we went off the high dive they have. Now, I'm not used a diving board being so bouncy (I'm used to the diving board they have at Green Canyon, and it's a bit stiff...so you have to really bounce if you want height) and I just barely jumped and I got tons of air...Wes said when I ran off the board and ran out of board, I was still running...except for the one hand that was faithfully at my noses' side...haha. Anywho, I hit the water so hard with one foot, it stung so bad, my ever-so-faithful nose hand slipped off, so I got tons of water coming up my nose which stung and gave me a slight base-of-the-head headache, and (this part is a bit embarrassing) but the top of my swimsuit came up again, luckily under the water, so nobody saw, and I got it fixed before I came up out of the water. But it wasn't bad...we just splashed and played in the water for like 3 hours and felt it. Wes didn't sunburned too bad, because he put sunscreen on...but I didn't put any on so I got pretty burned. (Picutres below) Obviously we still have one more day, which is tomorrow, and I'll update you on that later.

Yes, those are the hamsters in the background. You can't see them, but you can see their cages that Wes just loves to build tunnels for them. :)

Caving In

Well, I finally decided to cave in and start a blog. Although we aren't married, we are dating, and I figured that was good enough. I'm still kind of new at this, so it may take me a while, but I'll get it down pat, so no worries there. Right now, Wes and I are just living in Logan and working. I work at K-Mart and he is working at Western Wats, but is looking for a different/better job. We're both just happy that we have a job and are making some money so we can buy the things we need without having to bother either of our parents to help us out. Although, they still do, and we're very grateful for that when they do.

We have two hamsters (pictures of them will come, when I can get pictures of them). They are our source of entertainment for now, and we enjoy them very much.

Last weekend, we went to Idaho because I had a family reunion Friday. Saturday we went on a hike in Darby Canyon up to the Wind Caves. It was beautiful there as well. We took my dog Oreo and she loved it, that is until we got to the cave opening and went in. She didn't like that at all...so we just went in a little ways with her and came back shortly after that. Once we got back to the car, about 5 hours later, she slept the whole way home, which was an hour and half-ish drive back. But she did so good, and we had tons of fun. Anywho, I'm gonna head outta here, I got work to get ready for.
