January 2
While we were up in Idaho for Christmas, one of the cousins got this game and all the kids loved it! I saw it at Target for $3 so I grabbed it! Shailee loves to go fishing!
January 3
Shailee's first day in primary! She only cried for a few minutes and then was content to just sit there and listen.
It was fun being able to spy on her without her noticing me behind the piano!
January 4

Did a fun hairstyle on Shailee for school! She loved it, and it was cute!
January 9
We bought this cable and anchor set at IKEA and the hooks too! We use it to display Shailee's (and when Aiden starts, his) artwork up on! I love it, because we are all able to see it, but it's not crowding my fridge!
January 10
Jamie and Kevin invited us over for dinner, so we jumped on it! The kids would have someone to play with and we could have adult conversations! After dinner, we all had Creamies for dessert, except the little ones! Aiden is wondering where his is, lol. Don't worry, we shared with him!
January 11
Shailee's preschool class had a field trip to the Layton Fire Station! I was there helping. It was fun to watch Shailee interact with her friends! She's the one in the pink jacket and black boots.
Aiden of course got to come! He did pretty good as long as we were moving lol.

After the fire station, we went to the local Neighborhood Walmart. It's just the food side of your typical Walmart. They got samples of fruits and veggies. Then they took us behind where they stock the refrigerated items. At the end of the tour, they got a box of raisins and a fruit juice! It was fun, and Shailee loved it.
January 14
I pulled the car rug out for the kids. They had a lot of fun playing with it!
January 17
This poor mister wasn't feeling good at all. Slight fever and lots of snuggles!
Shailee found a lady bug and was so excited to hold it! She loves lady bugs!
She is growing up so fast! She will just sit and do activities by herself and loves it! Here she is doing a puzzle. She is really good at puzzles!
January 21
After taking Wes to lunch, we stopped at Jamie and Kevin's on the way home. Shailee loves her cousin Wade and it was a good time for them to play together while Jamie and I could visit while the littles played! It was so nice for them to have each other to play with instead of bothering us lol.
Aiden found a cupboard and was content lol!
January 22
Shailee was playing with some Play Doh and exclaimed, "Mom! Come look! I made a Christmas Tree!" It was so cute!
January 23
We decided it was time to trim Shailee's hair. This was her first REAL haircut. We've had it trimmed once before but, that was just dusting the ends...this time we cut a couple inches off!
It cleaned up nicely!
January 27
I was doing some house work and the kids were entertaining themselves. Well, Aiden got really quiet, so I went investigating. He found his diaper caddy and thought he'd clean it out!
Shailee was water coloring.
January 28
After our weekly lunch date with Wes, we headed up to the zoo. Winter is a good time to go, because not many people are there. Here we are, looking at the lions. The females were lounging in the sun, so we didn't take any pics of them.
One male was up front lounging in the sun...
...while the other was up close and personal, pacing by the windows.
Shailee had a lot of fun following the lion.
Aiden thought this tide pool was pretty neat!

Shailee is 4! We celebrated her birthday at Grandma and Grandpa's house in Idaho this year! Shailee had a princess themed birthday and chose her Rapunzel dress to wear!

Shailee's birthday cake! My mom made it, and my Aunt Treena decorated it! We added the princesses. Thanks for all your help! It turned out great!

Happy Birthday Princess! We love you so very much! Thank you for being such a sweet, loving, caring girl! You love your mom, dad, brother and your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends! You bring such a sweet spirit into our home! I can't believe it has already been 4 years since I became a mom! Thank you for that! I love you Shailee, and I know your brother and dad love you too! Here's to many more birthday's with you!
