Filling in the cinder block holes with dirt. I'm going to be putting flowers in these eventually.

April 3
This is Shailee's name that she has been learning to write in school. Her 'S's always seem to be backwards and her 'E's are upside down, but she has come a long way and we are so proud of her!
That day, Aiden got his first hair cut.

April 4
This is a picture Shailee drew. I am the pink one, she is the green one and Aiden is the yellow one.

Shailee asked me to come over and look at her bunny she made with playdoh!
April 7
After lunch with Wes, we went to the zoo. We got to the elephants just in time for them to do a show. So we stayed and watch them for a bit. I think the kids liked them!

April 9
It was a windy day, so we took the kids to a park that has lots of open sky. We took the opportunity to fly the kites the kids got for Easter.
Later that day, we went down to Jamie and Kevin's to see them, cousins and grandparents who were in town visiting. Grandpa with Aiden, Wade and Shailee!
April 12
Library time. It was on hats and for the craft, they got to make a hat of their own!
April 14
I built the kids a fort to play in and they loved it!
April 15
Shailee's preschool had a field trip to a local green house. The machine here was loud, so the majority of them are holding their ears. Shailee is at the end in the pink coat.
April 16
Shailee was playing on the ipad and Aiden wanted to watch too. Shailee was nice enough to let him come up and lay next to her.
So stinkin' cute! Love these kids of mine!

These two looked so good Sunday, that I had to get a picture of them in their Sunday best!!
April 18
We bought the kids a sand and water table to put outside. I put it together in the house and when Shailee got home from school she was so excited.

The backyard neighbors had one of their grandkids there and Shailee went over to talk to him.
April 19
Storytime at the library. Today's was on birds. The kids got to make a rocking chicken!
April 20
At Wes's work, somebody came with some birds of prey. I think this one is a hawk.
An owl.
Wes got to hold the hawk! How cool is that?!?
He's also on the website...he's famous!
April 21
At the zoo again after lunch with Wes. We are at the elephants again just in time for a show.
While at the show, this man proposed to his girlfriend and we got to see it!

Back home, and outside playing on the trampoline and the basketball hoop.

Another day at story time. Shailee is in the pink shirt, and she is actually participating in the activities now!

After Aiden's nap one day, I went in to get him up and he had gotten his arm out of his shirt somehow. He's so proud of himself.
April 28
After lunch with Wes we went to the Discovery Museum. Shailee is climbing up a ladder inside of a tree.
Aiden loved this rocking toy. He really got going.
