June Update

Here is June's Update

June 1
Shailee was worn out from our fun and busy weekend up in Idaho.  We were thankful for her to fall asleep and sleep 2 out of the 3 hours home!

I told you this girl loves her stickers.

While we were up in Idaho, our roses bloomed,  Sure do love seeing some pretty flowers in our backyard.

"Mom, CHEESE!"  She really wanted her picture taken.  So I snapped this one of my sweet bug!

June 3rd Wes got Shailee's early Christmas present set up in the backyard.  I have yet to get pictures of her on it...but she loves the swings!  Sometimes she'll do the slide, but most of the time is still unsure of it, even though we all know she can do it.

June 4
She found her princess crown and I guess had to put it on at bedtime this night.  She was so proud to have put it on, and let dad get pictures of her before putting her to bed.

The next day, she just had to show me, and went and got her princess crown.  Can't you just see how happy and proud of herself she is?  Ah!  Sometimes I can't get enough of her.  I sure do love this bug of ours!

June 6 was another My Gym day.  She was a busy little girl this day, and had lots of fun.

"Mom, I hold your hand!"

More stickers.

Later that day, we went to SLC to pick up Wes from work and go to Hogle Zoo.  They have a new attraction they just finished building (took a couple of years to build it) and we wanted to go check it out.  Shailee liked sitting on the lion statue.

Crawling through the log next to the otters.

Every other Friday, Wes gets to come with us to Shailee's gym because he has it off.  June 13 was just one of those Fridays.  Shailee loves when dad comes, because he can run around with her and do more activities with her than I can at this point.

They always have some sort of fun activity(ies) going on for the little ones to participate in.  This one, they had trucks bungee corded to a board and that board was hanging on some ropes that they have anchored in the ceiling.  It went forward and backward like a swing.  She was okay with it as long as dad was there and no other kid was in front of her haha.

On June 20, we went shopping at the local Smith's grocery store.  They have these little kid shopping carts, and so we grabbed one for Shailee.  She is so proud of herself!

These two pictures were taken on June 26.  She had a big snarl in her hair after bath time.  Wes had her sit on his lap while he combed it out and Tiger decided he wanted in Wes's lap too.  Well, Shailee was there, so he settled for half Wes and half Shailee.  Shailee was sure happy that he came and laid down there.  She loves our cats, and they are good to put up with her and can actually be affectionate towards her too.

June 28-29, Hill Airforce Base put on an airshow that was free to the public.  So we took the opportunity to go and watch.  We ran into Wes's sister Jamie, and her husband Kevin and their sweet little boy Wade.  I'm terrible at picture taking (I have a goal to become better haha).  So above is Shailee and Wes, it was really sunny, and then below is me and my big belly.  Enjoy the pictures of the show.

Shailee was too focused and distracted by some airplanes in the truck haha.

This was the second day of the airshow, but we just watched it from our front porch after church.  Sure love these two and am so blessed to have them in my life!

Back up a little bit here.  These was Father's Day Weekend.  It was also a get together of my mom's "kids" for the last time for a while.  My "brother" Ben and his wife Natalie and their cute little boy Elijah are moving to Chicago for a job Ben had just accepted.  So we got family pictures while we were there.
No rows here so here it goes: Shailee, Wes, me, Ben, Natalie, Elijah, my dad Tony and my mom Rita, Ethan, Regency, Greg and Skylar.

Just us on Father's Day.  Shailee and I got Wes some much needed shorts, a new white church shirt, a tie, and a new work shirt.  I hope he had a great Father's Day!  Shailee and I love you Wes and are so blessed to have you as a father and husband in our lives.
