It's August!

August 1

Took the kids to the zoo today. We went to see the gorillas outside.

He's just chilling in the shade munching on some food.

August 2

Went to the aquarium today. I brought pennies so they could put them in these things. They loved it!

This green inner tube has been the best purchase ever. All the kids love it, especially Zach.

West sent me this picture of Zach...he somehow got his foot out in the night or first thing in the morning.

Shailee got a rose on her big toes.

We went to West Yellowstone, and we were just looking around the shops to see what sort of stuff they had. What a fun bear in this store!

Had lunch there and Nana is cutting her hamburger in smaller pieces to make it easier to eat.

We went to the Playmill to see The Little Mermaid. It was really good and so much fun. I sat by my dad and Shailee got to sit by Nana.

August 12

Shailee got to wear Nana's helmet so she could go on a bike ride with Papa.

Took the three musketeers to the zoo today. It's also Wes's birthday.

I made Wes a cake and after dinner, we all sang happy birthday to him!

Zach's newest trick. He's so proud of himself!

Went to the fair, and found a pirate ship.

Took the kids to the park and played croquet.

Shailee's new dress for the first day of school coming up.

Ivory Homes, who we bought our home from, had a little get together for all the new families in the neighborhood. I'm not sure who this is with Aiden, but they had a little photobooth.

August 20

Shailee can now ride her bike with no training wheels!

Way to go Shailee!!

August 21

Zach is 8 months old!

Getting Shailee's hair cut for school and to get all those dead ends off.

We cut like 6 inches off!

August 22

Shailee's first day of 1st grade! And a new school for her. She was so excited!

After school, since they had early out, we went to SLC to take dad to lunch. We went to the Gateway and got to ride on the escalators.

Little Zach was just happy to be there.

They can be so sweet to each other sometimes.

We went to the Clark Planetarium to hang out until dad got off work. When you stepped on these lights, it would bend wherever you were standing. Pretty cool.
